Wish you could relax and help your kids make art but find all the set-up, clean-up, and constant supervision exhausting?
Join us for a relaxing mid-week guided art lab just for families – all you have to do is show up. Parents or grandparents can join in with children of all ages. Drop-off options are available for ages 5 and up (guardians also have free access to our beautiful coworking space during art lab time).
Together, we will breathe and enjoy the feel of our hands creating with colorful textural materials.
This is a chance to unwind and decompress in the late afternoon and enjoy process art. We will create with a variety of materials that will be set out in an open ended, Reggio Emilia style where students are offered invitations to play with the materials. Gentle guidance and instruction is available if you need support or inspiration.
We will explore different themes such as painting with acrylic or tempera; do collages with various types of paper and mixed media; practice sculpture; or just make creative and fun art with recycled materials. The only assignment is to play and explore with colors, shapes, and textures with no messy clean-up at home!
